Most of the family photography shoots I do are 2-4 hours. Allowing time for the little people to get comfortable with the camera and the parents and I to connect. So when Sophia asked me to photograph her family for half an hour during sunset I was a little unsure. But luckily for me, their little girl Charlotte was delighted to be on the beach and the light in Los Angeles at this time of year is incredible. So the hard work was done for me . So the good news is, that on the back of the success of this shoot, I’m now offering 45 minute shoots on Venice Beach and in the Playa Del Rey to Santa Monica area. Please get in touch for my rates if you are interested.

So thrilled to be reunited with my favourite client Dotty Dungarees. Alice and Georgie’s brand celebrates the spirit of childhood adventure. As a result each shoot is an adventure to! Some of the models I’ve photographed since they were 1 years old and they now they are at ‘big school’ and very sadly almost too big for the dungarees!
Don't get me wrong, I am loving LA, its beautiful weather and magical light. But for the first time since I've been here I've found myself craving autumn leaves, frosty mornings and thick knitted jumpers. Here are some of my favourite pictures from gorgeous children's brand Dotty Dungarees photographed last January. I've been shooting their look books for 3 years now, saying good bye to my UK clients for pastures unknown in LA was a big leap of faith. Dotty Dungarees brand is about the spirit of adventure. Georgie, Alice and I had so much fun thinking up the next adventure for our merry band of regular models.
My dream life and work life collide most days but this years Bumble and Ava Autumn Winter 2017/18 shoot was particularly special. The fabrics for this seasons fabrics were designed by my childhood friend and extremely talented illustrator Susannah Garrod. The 'Victoriana' theme dreamt up between Susie and brand owner Natasha Dickenson was the perfect excuse to indulge in a nostalgic childhood theme for this season shoot. But what made the shoot all the more special is that most of the models are my family. So a big thank you to my cousins Oli, Jess, Thomas, Clare, Plum and Henry for lending me Max, Ella, Sophia, Milo, Immy and Martha. Last but not least my own son Zac, who was bribed into posing with bubbles and bananas...again. And another big thank you to Susie for bravely letting us borrow her newly refurbished house in Anglesey!
